I never end up using sleep mode, it is either on all the time being used or it is off taking a break. There is no in between time for me and sleep mode for any machine I have used (prebuilt or on my own) always has sleep issues.....kinda like me I guess.

I don't use the sleep mode, either, other than a couple times that I clicked the wrong thing...lol. According to my computer guy, it's better to shut your machine completely down if you are going to be not using it for more than an hour or so. He says that hard drives and motherboards are not made as well as they used to be and shutting down saves wear and tear.

I use sleep mode for ma windows. Its a good feature with windows to go inactive if you are not using your machine.
