Default Nostalgia...

I used to use Windows 98 a very long time back. When I look back on it now, one thing sticks out in my memory...the startup music.

I remember that I didn't used to get a lot of time to spend on the computer, so I used to look forward to the times I would get to sit at the computer. That startup music is probably associated with emotions like excitement, and now, nostalgia

I think this is the first version of the windows program I used and I really loved it, it was easy to navigate. In no time I was doing all kinds of tricks on it.

Windows 98? Man the first Windows program I ever used was Windows 95! I hope that isn't dating me too much. I now use Windows XP and boy oh boy what a difference.

Poptart, I can beat that since I started out with I believe it was 3.1? I adored Windows 95 when it came out and 98, too - at least the second version. The first people tend to forget about now but remember how people crabbed over that one?

I hear you on the start up music nostalgia. I started out in Windows 95 as well. So we've been around a long time I guess. Somethings have progressed a lot and others still need work.

I have used many of them and its not always what I remember about doing as the times I had with friends messing around just with any computer instead of just one O/S.
