How to network a wired connection?

Hi all, I need some help on how to network a connection between 3 computers. We all share a wired router connection. How can I get started?

If you go to my network places, on your start menu, then click "add a new network" it will take you through a setup wizard to get your network going.

Do you have the manual for your router? Often times if you run the router setup on each of the machines that share the router this will set everything up. You may need to use the Windows network setup as well but I normally have found that as long as I use the router CD then I'm good.
