Default Oopsy today that you might get a kick out of

I was working on the computer this morning and all of a sudden it started acting up really bad. Things would open from my taskbar and my FF went wonky. Thinking I'd picked up a bug, I did a system restore. When the computer restarted, I continued having issues with FF like with one of my toolbar folders trying to open all 22 items at once. Finally, I looked down at my keyboard and noticed that my control key was stuck down. I was so po'd at myself...lol.

You wanna know something hilarious? This actually happened to me as well, a few months back. At first I thought it was my mouse malfunctioning or something, but it turned out to be my keyboard instead! I shouldn't be entirely surprised though, as this is a pretty shoddy keyboard and it gets various keys stuck in there from time to time. This was actually the keyboard that came with the computer, so at least I didn't pay anything for it!

Haha, I've done that a couple times. While you're ticked it was so simple you're relieved at the same time because at least its a free fix. Better than a random bug or needing a new keyboard.

I can totally relate, it sounds like something I would do! I have had problems where instead of scrolling, the button on my mouse would make the font size change... then I'd look down and see my book leaning on the control key. Funny... and it's happened more than once.

Default I can relate

I haven't actually had the keys get stuck yet but I have a tendency to press on the numbers pad by accident. Always takes a few seconds for my brain to register why the computer is flaking out.

Thanks for the giggle. That was highly amusing. I can imagine me doing that late at night, although thankfully it hasn't happened to me yet. I'm sure it will at some point though.

Lol, that was a much-needed smile for me today! I do worry about the day my keyboard starts to go, though; I use a laptop at home so replacing the keyboard wouldn't be as easy as hopping down to the store and picking up a new one.

That has happened to me a few times, with each time, I kinda forget what caused it in the past. It's good to know I am not the only one out there doing these crazy things.

Heh, I've had similar things happen to me, but not on such a big scale. I've never really had to make or restore a restore point. I generally make it a point now whenever I see the computer acting strangely to make sure that no keys are pressed unintentionally.
