Default Wireless Antenna

The antenna on my wireless card broke off, and I found myself needing to fix or repair. I followed a simple tutorial online that showed me how to do this, soldering the new one in place and covering with a drinking straw.

Have you ever had to do something like this?

Wow! That's really cool! I had no idea that you could fix a problem like this with a soldeing iron and a drinking straw. Good to know, so thanks for that, and now I know to give this a try before running out to buy a new one if this happens to me.

Ok this is the video and tutorial that I found and followed, though its not the original site-I couldn't find that. Anyway I just used the small gauge copper wire, and the straw just covers it.
