I am an avid coupon user and often print online from coupons.com or smartsource.com both of which require installation (successfully) of their software to format the barcodes for proper scanning as well as security features. Some days they work fine, some days they think they need updating/downloading/installation, and some days they tell me the printer isn't configured properly after printing once properly. I have spent several hours with the coupons.com tech support (a lovely high level IT guy) trying to trouble shoot my laptop for one specific coupon. We didn't get anywhere despite trying FF, IE and a couple other ideas. He ended up printing it and sending it to me himself. Is this a software issue or is it really the computer settings as the companies often say?

What kind of printer are you using? Did it not print at all or is it printing but not in the quality necessary? To me it may be a compatibility issue with your printer. Does the coupon display properly on your monitor? Have you tried to capture the screen to print?

I've been printing coupons for years and have experienced the same things. I've had the software work fine for two years and then all of a sudden not work. I've had this happen with Windows95, 98se and XP. My Vista machine is only a few months old so haven't had this issue yet.
