Both but it depends what I need it for. If I don't want to fool around with anything work wise its Firefox as I have long been using it for many yeas even during the IE hater times (isn't that always?), but if its work related at my work I need to use IE as its mandatory.

I alternate between 3 browsers currently, Internet Explorer and Firefox are 2 of them.
The 3rd one being Opera, and I have used pretty much every other browser at some point also. Of the 3 I like Opera the best overall, but it has some problems that make me want to use some other browsers along with it. |

For the most part I just use Firefox because I like the features, even though many of them have been adopted by other browsers. I especially like that if I accidentally navigate away from a post, if I hit my back button, my post is still there, I don't have to retype it. And I love the built in spell checker!

Firefox is so much more secure than IE which is why I use it more - I never get viruses or trojans when I use FF. I also like the features and the tons of add-ons and plugins available with FF.

Being new to the computer world I find myself utterly confused more times than not. My Vista program comes with IE, I am not sure what the others are all about. Are they search engines? Can someone advise? And if they are, do they slow down the computer by adding them, or monopolize the ones you already have. I am somewhat embarrassed asking such basic questions, but feel like this is the best place to do it to learn more about computers.

I use Firefox always, except when there is a site that won't seem to load in it. Then, I will use IE.
I love the tabbed browsing feature in Firefox, and now that IE has this ability I may use it more. I also like the different skins in Firefox, too. |

I have firefox and IE installed on my computer, I do rarely use IE and since FF3 came out I may not have to use it at all. I mostl had add-on/plugin support issues with firefox that required using IE, but hopefully they update them with the new release and I can go back to ignoring IE.

I use Internet Explorer. I love the tabs!! But if I had discovered FireFox and its tabs when IE still didn't have them, I would probably be sold on FF. Its just habit to use IE all the time. I do use FF for one of my Work at home jobs, because it is required. I also pull up FF when IE won't load a JAVA for some reason becuase FF usually will.

I used to really like Internet Explorer back in the days when it was still the indisputable king of internet browsers, and I still do use it for testing purposes, and when my other browsers are having issues with something or other.
Ahh, IE...you aren't what you once were
