Back when we had dialup we switched from netZero to another one that offered the picking a number based on speed/usage. It worked alot better than NetZero, even with it being the cheapest plan. I've never seem much that really speeds up dial-up which is the reason so many people are pushing to get broadband/cable/fios. Do you live near anyone you can borrow wireless from? We shared with the next door neighbor on and off for almost a year.
